The exhibition space with offices is the new face of the company
The existing factory buildings of the company WILLL Manufaktur are on the outskirts of a small village. With the new building a „face“ was put in front containing reception-, office-, as well as, presentation- and public rooms. Behind a spacious landscape designed areaway two parts of a structure can be seen. One with an overhanging front, some meters in front of the other building, invites you to enter via a cut out at the corner. The other with an inclined fassade, stilted as upper floor on top of a glass wall ascending out of a water basin placed in front. Exuberant reception and distant reservation adjoin directly next to each other. Inside the building the reception gesture is proceeding by a dynamic shaped desk, whereas office and presentationspaces on the ground floor have a more reserved appearance. The upper floor with a trapezoidal cross section shows two specific configurations: the one half, almost closed, is lightened by a narrow gap shortly above the floor as well by an opposite skylight. Whereas the other half an inclined glass fassade with fins against blinding is flushed with light in such a way as two oppositional zones develop.
